Situated on the mainland it is a bar enriched with arts and crafts from various African countries. From the famous craft of the wooden Ghana Mummy trucks of the 60’s & 70’s, Ghanaian folklore, beautiful wood carvings from Togo and Benin to the sheer beauty of South African art, this bar was carefully designed to tell our African story. The bar celebrates our unique identity and art and exposes both the similarities and differences within the various regions.
Sleep
10 tastefully decorated units built to offer a luxurious experience. You can choose from our 5 single chalets, 1 double chalet, 3 bedroom villa or our well decorated suites on the mainland. Our beautiful chalets offer cosy accommodation with a swimming pool and private garden for each. The 3 bedroom villa has its separate swimming pool as well. Your privacy is guaranteed since there is a vast distance between the chalets. Each room has a safe deposit box and mini bar. Guests in the chalets and villa enjoy a 24 hour butler service. This makes Whitesands truly “a home away from home”.

With a beautiful array of exotic tropical plants and flowers, a well manicured lawn, vast land with various locations, this is the ideal venue for marriage proposals, intimate weddings, milestone celebrations and others. You can keep it small at our villa, pool theme @ Yasumi, Beach background at the main beach or lush background at the Palms area. Whatever the theme is, we will find a spot that works well.
Wildlife and nature
A tour of our facility will bring to the fore that nature and wildlife is fused with Whitesands. We have a project to save the sea turtles that are gradually ebbing into extinction. We educate the townsfolk on the importance of preserving these wonderful sea turtles. We pay for their freedom and release them back to their natural habitat when captured.
Upcoming Projects- Iemanja Spa
We believe wellness is an integral piece of the puzzle to good health and longevity. We are currently constructing a spa and gym with a Turkish hammam and massage parlour to cater for the wellness of our guests. We look forward to the completion and opening of our Iemanja Spa, a magnificent addition to our beautiful resort.
