The luxury hotel San Corrado di Noto in Sicily dates back to the 18th century when it was the summer getaway for Prince Nicolaci, a wealthy nobleman of Val di Noto.

After the last three years of renovations, it is now an eco-friendly luxury resort. The changes and additions were built to respect the history of the residence as well as the traditions of Baroque Sicily. Nestled in an onsite olive grove, in harmony with nature, our spacious suites and villas are designed to offer maximum comfort and privacy for guests.

We believe in the power of hospitality and that a vacation is meant to regenerate our guests physically, mentally, and spiritually. This is why we have given a level of great importance to relaxation, fitness, and the well-being of our guests during their stay.

We also want to convey our passion for the beauty and history of Sicily, a region of Italy that absolutely needs to be discovered by everyone. At our property, we share with our guests our passion for discovering the beauty of this fantastic island. We pride ourselves on being examples of how to show love for nature and respect for the environment around us. And of course, we also love to show our passion for good food.

At San Corrado, we feel proud of our sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. All the water used in the resort is recycled. We are able to irrigate our lush gardens and still show respect for our ‘green’ philosophy. Looking at the inner workings of the resort, 40% of our total utility usage is to be offset by solar panels and the recycling of heat from our kitchen. The line of soaps and washes that you will find in our bathrooms is free of chemicals and handcrafted locally. And in our onsite spa, we only have chemical free and ethically sourced skincare products.

Thanks to our zero-kilometre approach, we also have our own vegetable garden. We use this to cultivate as many ingredients as we can that will be used in our kitchen and for our guests. If we cannot grow something ourselves, we go out and find the ingredients locally when possible. Our aim is to reduce food waste by using seasonal products that are locally sourced.

Our kitchen serves a menu of local cuisines that also reflects the cultural diversity found in Sicily. We have created relationships with local farmers and fishermen to provide us with products that are diverse, giving guests a holistic menu to eat from. And all of our dishes have the health and well-being of our guests as a priority.

We have an updated onsite gym that guests are welcome to use throughout their stay. We also have a yoga pavilion that hosts retreats where you can experience a relaxing and laid-back trip to San Corrado di Noto. For those that might have a more active vacation, you are able to use our tennis courts and equipment as well.

We have taken a lot of time and put a lot of care into Il San Corrado di Noto. We hope you come and experience relaxation and rest and enjoy our eco-friendly amenities on your next trip to Sicily.
