Air France has revealed its plans for the 2023 summer schedule, which will include resuming flights to China. The French carrier will provide daily flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, beginning from 1 July. Air France also plans to increase its flights to Japan, with up to 11 weekly flights to Tokyo Haneda and three to Tokyo Narita.

Responding to increasing demand, Air France will operate up to 180 flights per week to 14 US destinations, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, New York Newark Liberty, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC. Furthermore, the carrier will expand its capacity on routes to Canada, with 50 weekly flights connecting Paris to Montreal, Ottawa, Québec, Toronto, and Vancouver.

Air France will reintroduce flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Quebec City on 2 May 2023, and it will start a new five-times weekly direct flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Ottawa on 27 May. The airline will be the only carrier to operate direct flights between Ottawa and Europe, and it is poised to become the region’s leading air carrier in terms of capacity connecting Europe and Canada.

In Africa, Air France plans to increase its routes and seat capacities, which are already higher than 2019 levels. On 12 June, the airline will launch a three-times weekly service to Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania. Starting from 27 March 2023, Air France’s new 48-seat business class cabin will also be available on flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Johannesburg, South Africa.

Air France’s 2023 summer schedule will also include a new weekly flight from Cayenne in French Guiana to Belém in Brazil, and the airline will launch 66 seasonal routes across France and Europe, connecting Paris and several other regional hubs in France to Corsica, Greece, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia. Overall, the carrier’s network of 191 destinations will offer a schedule at 2019 levels.
