Emirates, a global leader in aviation, has officially opened its state-of-the-art travel retail store, Emirates World, in London. This marks the first European location in the airline’s ambitious plan to expand its retail footprint worldwide.
Located in the heart of South Kensington, the store offers a unique blend of modern technology, expert travel advice, and immersive experiences. Visitors can explore a life-sized replica of an Emirates A380 cabin, including a luxurious first-class suite and a premium economy seat.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the airline’s commitment to providing personalized and memorable experiences for its customers. “When you book a flight or holiday, it’s not just a financial transaction; it’s an emotional journey,” he said. “We want to make sure our customers feel the excitement and anticipation of their trip before they even board the plane.”
The store features interactive displays, self-service kiosks, and a dedicated team of travel consultants ready to assist customers with flight bookings, holiday packages, and Skywards loyalty program inquiries. Additionally, shoppers can browse a wide range of Emirates merchandise, including aircraft models, travel gadgets, and exclusive collaborations.
Emirates Holidays, the airline’s tour operating arm, has also opened a new store in the Cottons Centre. The store offers customers personalised holiday packages, exclusive offers, and expert travel advice from a team of experienced travel consultants.
Emirates currently serves the UK with 133 weekly flights to Dubai, connecting passengers to over 140 destinations worldwide. In London, the airline operates from Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted, carrying more than 45,000 passengers each week.
