Located next to Old Town Square, in the heart of Prague, THE EMBLEM HOTEL is a Lifestyle hotel that merges the past, present, and future of the historic city into a home for travelers and a haven for locals. The Emblem changes the idea of you “staying at them” to you “staying with them” by becoming a modern take on the traditional home. With 59 rooms, a lower-level lounge (The M Lounge), a restaurant and bar (George Prime Steak), a spa with a rooftop terrace (The M Spa), and state-of-the-art technology, the hotel and its many ‘living spaces’ are dedicated to creating a community.
From the moment a guest books a reservation to the second they leave, it is apparent that we do things differently here at The Emblem. Even before arrival, we are in constant communication with guests (due to our technological collaborations with Bookboost and OAKY), not only offering practical information about our hotel, but also opportunities to enhance their stay with perks and experiences we offer such as Jacuzzi rentals, tours, romantic packages, handwritten notes, restaurant reservations, and much more. And don’t worry… we won’t SPAM your inbox! We’ll be able to get in touch over SMS, What’sApp, Facebook Messenger, or whatever your preferred channel of communication is.
We even formed our own technology company, Mews Systems, to pioneer a state-of-the-art product in order to change the way we interact with guests entirely. Guests also have the opportunity to check-in online before arrival, which saves time and allows a seamless arrival process. After arriving, a guest is shown into our spacious Living Room, offered a beverage, given their key, and can head straight to their room to settle in.
While all of our employees can be considered a Concierge, we also have taken extra steps to ensure that guests feel at home not only in our hotel, but also in our city.
Before arrival, we email guests asking if they wish to take part in our Personal Itinerary Service. After answering a quick survey about what they want from their time here (whether it’s to see the hottest spots, explore the sights, etc.) upon arrival, they receive an itinerary with recommended restaurants, attractions, and events, catered personally to them.
Even if guests choose not to participate in this service, we still have them covered. Every morning, in-house guests receive a Daily Text with different recommendations and maps to our favorite spots in the city. We also invite everyone to join us every day from 6:00 – 8:00 PM for “Emblem Hours” where we offer complimentary wine and snacks. It’s a great time for guests to come grab a drink and chat with us (or each other) about what’s going on around Prague.
Heading to the lowest level of the hotel, guests can find The M Lounge. Down here is where they have the opportunity to relax, grab a drink, watch a movie, play games, or even set up an office space. The main idea behind this space is to provide more room for guests, but we also host a number of events here with creative people from around Prague and the world. Some of our past partners include Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week, Prague Pride, The Aspen Institute, Galerie Rudolfinum, reSITE Festival, and more.
Our most recent collaboration has been with the ARE organization in Prague. We work closely with this group of Prague curators to provide an entirely unique experience by offering contemporary Art Walks. Guests choose a tour that works for them, and one of Prague’s curators guides them around the galleries. Our collaboration with ARE also includes our growing Art Library downstairs in The M Lounge and hosting a number of artists, curators, and creatives from around the world. We have also grown an extensive personal contemporary art collection called The Emblem Collection. Our current works include pieces from both local and international artists.
Until this point, we feel like there has been nothing of this service caliber offered, especially in Prague. We are so thrilled to go out of our way to offer a truly unforgettable experience here at The Emblem, and we will continue to push boundaries in order to make that happen.
