French hotel giant Accor is expanding its presence in Central Asia with the planned opening of a Swissôtel property in Tajikistan’s capital city, Dushanbe. The 243-room hotel, housed within an 18-floor building, is slated to debut in 2028, marking Accor’s first foray into the Tajik hotel market.

The Swissôtel Dushanbe will feature a host of amenities to cater to discerning guests, including two restaurants, a café, and a rooftop bar. Additionally, the hotel will provide ample space for meetings and events, with conference rooms and a ballroom suitable for hosting a range of gatherings.
The signing of the Tajikistan property aligns with Accor’s strategic growth plans in eastern Europe and central Asia. The company aims to establish a strong foothold in these dynamic regions, offering travellers a seamless and consistent experience across its extensive network of hotels.
